☞ Multi-Shaft Augers:
 

• Multi-Shaft Auger Machines [Drives] with more than 2 shafts structure is used in marine or port weak ground in order to retain walls and stabilize soil by agitating Rod [Flight] and Auger Bit [Blade or Head] connected to Auger Machines [Shaft].

• Multi-Shaft Auger Machines bores holes in the ground and mixes the soil with a a chemical hardener slurry [cement paste] coming through the end of the Auger Shaft.

• After mixing the chemical hardener slurry sufficiently,H-shaped steel or other types of steel are inserted into the columns before the soil-cement mixture is hardened, forming an underground continuous wall with rigidity and intensity. The wall could be used as retaining support or water seal.

• Because the soil is mixed in situ and the soil-cement walls are formed in a single process, the construction period is shorter than that of other construction methods. Forming soil-cement columns costs less than traditional methods requiring the excavation of the soil, constructing forms, and then pouring concrete into the forms in order to form the concrete pillars or walls.

• As Auger Bit [Blade or Head] located at the lower end of each shaft of Multi-Shaft Auger Machines penetrates the soil,the soil is broken loose and a chemical hardener slurry is injected into the soil through the ends of Auger Bit attached to the shaft. The Augers penetrate, break loose, and lift the soil to mixing paddles which further blend the slurry in the soil.
